Acting on behalf of property developer Opus North and investment company Leeds and London Group, Carter Towler has successfully pre-let three units at the newly completed trade counter estate Eccleshill Park, on Harrogate Road, Bradford.
The 2.8-acre site occupies a prominent position on the A658, just 4.5 miles from Leeds Bradford Airport, and benefits from excellent connectivity to Bradford and north Leeds via the M606 and M62 motorway network.
Commenting on the scheme, Hazel Cooper said: “This has been an exciting scheme for us to be involved with. The level of enquiries we have seen from the outset has been extremely encouraging, and securing three high-profile trade counter occupiers prior to completion is a great result.
“Screwfix, Toolstation and Howdens have taken Units 1, 3 and 5 with a combined floor area of approximately 15,000 sq ft. This leaves just two units available – Unit 2 at 3,908 sq ft and Unit 4 at 3,320 sq ft – both of which are attracting significant interest!”
Alex Munro, Director at Leeds and London Group added: “We are delighted with the progress made so far marketing this new trade counter scheme. The development is in an excellent location and benefits from strong neighbouring occupiers, with Burger King, Lidl and Starbucks already trading successfully on the adjacent site. It is particularly pleasing that the majority of the units were let ahead of construction completing.”
Eccleshill Park comprises five modern trade counter units, all benefiting from 6m clear working eaves, electronic overhead loading doors, 35kN/m² floor loading and generous on-site car parking, including electric vehicle charging points.
