Major new property management instructions across Yorkshire and the North

A historic Leeds landmark property is to be managed by Carter Towler

We have kicked off 2026 with a series of significant new property management instructions across Yorkshire and the North of England, further strengthening our position as one of the region’s leading independent managing agents.

Our property management team has been appointed by Glenbrook Private Clients to manage St Albions, one of Leeds’ most recognisable landmark buildings. Formerly the Church Institute, the historic five-storey property sits at the heart of the city’s retail quarter and provides 31,400 sq ft of leisure, retail and office accommodation.

Current occupiers at St Albions include PizzaExpress, Flat Iron Steak and Card Factory, alongside office tenants Protocol Education, 2-Work serviced offices and Ten10 Solutions Ltd. In addition to property management, Carter Towler has also been instructed to market space within 2-Work St Albions and to manage office refurbishment works on behalf of the client.

Elsewhere in Leeds, we have been appointed by a private client to manage Temple House, a 102,437 sq ft mixed-use building in Seacroft. The instruction includes management of the common parts and service charges. Occupiers include Ninja Warrior UK, the adventure park inspired by ITV’s hit TV show, alongside Beechwood Veterinary Group, Premier Martial Arts and Virgin Media. The building’s top-floor office accommodation is currently vacant.

The property management team has also secured new instructions from Lancashire-based Pitalia Real Estate, including The Granary, Leeds, a multi-let office building with the Water Lane Boathouse bar attached. Located in the heart of Leeds’ South Bank, the Grade II listed warehouse has been sensitively redeveloped to provide 19,129 sq ft of high-quality office space, combining historic character with modern amenities.

And finally, Carter Towler is to manage Ashton Old Road, Manchester, part of a retail park owned by Pitalia Real Estate. The instruction includes service charge management for the external common areas serving a building occupied by Matalan.

Commenting on the new instructions Matt Faulkes said: “Congratulations to Steve Spittlehouse, Rob Wright and their hardworking teams on securing these excellent new instructions.

“Thanks largely to client recommendations, our property management team is growing, we’re helping more owners and tenants get real value, while keeping risk and liabilities under control.

“By working hand-in-hand with our Commercial Agency and Building Consultancy teams, we combine expertise and market insight to deliver the best results for everyone involved.

“This is a great start to the year and we look forward to working closely with our clients and occupiers across these schemes.”
