Helping to brighten Christmas for local children

Carter Towler has joined forces with the Leeds Children’s Charity at Lineham Farm to help brighten Christmas for local children.

We have donated over 100 Christmas presents including board games, footballs, toy cars, craft kits, books, LEGO and action figures. The gifts will support children aged 2 to 11 from challenging and disadvantaged backgrounds, ensuring they have something special to open on Christmas morning.

Lineham Farm Children’s Charity has been a sanctuary for local children since 1993. Nestled in 120 acres of Yorkshire countryside at Eccup, the charity provides residential, respite and activity opportunities for children from backgrounds of challenge and disadvantage. Each year the charity supports over 2,000 children giving them opportunities to have fun, adventure and a chance to thrive outside of difficult home circumstances.

Josie Crossland, who helped organise the collection, said: “It’s been heart-warming to see everyone’s generosity. Knowing these gifts will make a real difference to children in our local community makes it extra special. I’m so proud of the team for getting involved.

“A special thanks also goes to Hannah Brumpton and Julie Robinson for their role in making the appeal such a success. Carter Towler is proud to support Lineham Farm and help bring festive joy to children who need it most.”
